Find your way to CountryView Home

Since the area near CountryView Home is very hilly, please make sure your car’s tires have good traction. In winter, a car with 4-wheel drive or at least front-wheel drive with good tires is strongly recommended.

From Chicago:

  • Take I-90 West to Route 20 West – towards Rockford and Galena. (Do not take the first Route 20 exit to Marengo).
  • In Galena, turn right just after the bridge (over the Galena River) onto Main Street
  • Turn right on Stagecoach Trail (County Hwy 3), and go 4.5 miles to NorthEast Miner Road – turn right.
  • Go approximately 1/2 mile on Miner Road to the first gravel driveway on the left, with “CountryView House” mailbox.
  • Take the driveway 7/10 mile to our house.
